Welcome to the Hidden Vines Winery website. By browsing this site or purchasing our products, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Age Requirement (Legal Drinking Age)
In compliance with British Columbia law, you must be 19 years of age or older to purchase wine from Hidden Vines Winery. By placing an order, you represent that you are of legal drinking age and that the person receiving the delivery is also of legal drinking age.
Shipping & Delivery Policies
We ship our wines across Canada, subject to provincial regulations.
- Adult Signature Required: All wine shipments must be signed for by an adult (19+). Carriers are legally prohibited from leaving wine unattended at a doorstep (“porch drops” are not permitted).
- ID Verification: The delivery agent may request a valid government-issued photo ID. If a sober adult is not available to sign, the wine will be returned to the local depot for pickup or returned to the winery at the customer’s expense.
- Weather Holds: Wine is a perishable commodity. To protect the quality of our vintages, we reserve the right to delay shipments during periods of extreme heat or cold.
- Shipping Destinations: We ship to most Canadian provinces. Please note that certain territories or remote “dry” communities may have restrictions.
Hidden Vines Wine Club
By joining our Wine Club, you agree to:
- Annual Commitment: A minimum purchase of 12 bottles per year to maintain active member benefits.
- Billing: Your credit card will be charged at the time of your chosen order or pickup.
- Cancellation: You may skip or cancel your membership at any time; however, cancellations must be made at least 10 days prior to a scheduled club processing date.
Returns & Refunds
- Damaged Goods: If your wine arrives damaged or “corked” (TCA taint), please contact us within 30 days. We may require the return of the unfinished bottle for quality control analysis.
- Final Sale: Due to the nature of the product, all wine sales are otherwise final. We cannot accept returns based on personal taste preferences.
Limitation of Liability
Hidden Vines Winery is not liable for any delays in delivery caused by third-party carriers, incorrect shipping addresses provided by the customer, or failure to provide valid ID at the time of delivery.
